• CLASSMATES RAISE MONEY FOR THE LOGANATOR |
|
|
Jack Rooney and Finn Monahan, classmates of 12-year-old Logan Sweiter are selling T-shirts in front of Wayne Sporting Goods in downtown Wayne to help with what an adult minder of the sidewalk sale called possible “long-term” care.
The T-shirts are $15 and are also on sale inside Wayne Sporting Goods, which supported the project by doing the printing. The shirts are in white or pink with Sweiter’s nickname, “The Loganator” on the front with a clasped hands logo. On the back of the shirts is printed “Keep the faith.”
The boys have already sold more than 150 of the shirts. Plastic bracelets with Sweiter’s name are also for sale and lemonade, too.
Sweiter was caught in a fast moving stream during a torrential rainstorm last week and had to be rescued by firefighters and EMTs from a culvert. He is still at Childrens Hospital.
