WSG ONLINE TEAM STORE PROGRAM
Overview:
As part of our website, we have an online service that allows teams, leagues, and booster clubs to create Team Stores. These stores allow teams to showcase specific items for their sport or event. Typically, each Team Store is open 24/7 for a two week buying period so even the busiest parents/alumni will have time to purchase.
Costs:
There is absolutely no cost to you to set up or maintain the online Team Store. We set up the store, list the items for sale, produce and then deliver the items to the customer. The only charges would be if we need to create logos if we have not produced items for you in the past.
Selection of Items:
We will work with you to pick out the items that will be listed in each online store. Typically we like to list 6-8 items per sport which allows for variety but ensures a uniform look for your team. You can choose between embroidery and screen printed items. Embroidery is typically easiest and fastest turnaround because there are no minimums whereas screen printed items have a 12 piece minimum. You can choose from name brands like Under Armour and Nike or choose from tons of other companies to fit your needs.
Fundraising:
The online store is a quick and easy way to generate extra income for the school or team. After an item is picked for inclusion in the Team Store, we will set our price. You can then add onto this amount to build in a fundraising element. For example, an embroidered hooded sweatshirt may cost you $25 each. You then can add $2, $3, $5 per sweatshirt to raise extra money. If you add $5 per sweatshirt, the item would be listed for $30 in the online store and you would make $5 per item sold. At the end of the buying period, we would add up your proceeds and cut you a check.
Payment:
Customers will pay directly through our secure website with a credit card. An email confirmation will be sent directly to the customer outlining the details of their purchase. Each customer will also get an electronic notice once their item is completed. This streamlined process eliminates coaches/parents from taking orders and figuring out who has paid.
Delivery:
We will deliver all items within about two to three weeks after the end of the buying period. During checkout customers have the option of getting their order shipped directly to their home (for an additional fee), picking the item up at school for free or picking the order up at our store for free.
